To play my lead male/final shot zombie, I cast Jordan Baker. Jordan is 18 years old, was a talented GCSE drama student and has displayed great ability over the time I have known him.
I thought him a brilliant choice for the part as he shows great prowess at displaying emotional distress through both his facial expression and every one of his movements, and this is needed to create the right atmosphere for my film.
Laura Cowen was cast as my leading lady. Laura, also 18 years old, and is a fantastic actress, a highly talented student at the top of her class in A level drama. Not only do I feel that her acting ability shone greater than the other candidates, but she also has the perfect look that fits the character that I had in mind, as well as being physically fit and able to run for great lengths.

I also auditioned for the part of the lead zombie, eventually offering the position to Jamie Howard. Jamie (18) performed the best ‘zombie’ impersonation, able to drag his form in a very relaxed way and still make the movements look menacing. Also, as opposed to a lot of the other potential actors, Jamie was very willing to be covered with large amounts of make-up and fake blood.
Proficient work on casting/organisation of actors.
